Happy Summer. Did you know?

The hottest temperature ever recorded on Earth is 56.7°C (134.1°F), measured on July 10, 1913, at Furnace Creek Ranch in Death Valley, California. This record has been officially recognized by the World Meteorological Organization (WMO).

July is National Ice Cream month! There are many types of ice cream and over 1,000 flavors around the world.

The BACnet User Group event was a great success.

BACnet User Group meetup was at our Cimetrics office in beautiful Greenville, NH! Participants had a great opportunity to connect with fellow professionals in the building automation and controls community, share experiences, and get hands-on with BACnet/SC and BACnet/IP testing on a live network. Stay tuned for the announcement for the next event in Autumn!

ASHRAE Virtual Courses

ASHRAE Virtual Courses

In July, ASHRAE is offering courses on controlling humidity in commercial buildings. Excess humidity and moisture promote mold, mildew, and uncomfortable conditions for occupants. Learn what equipment is used for this purpose, how it works, and how to apply it quickly, economically, and reliably.

In August, check out new and updated courses on decarbonization. These advanced courses are for professional engineers and architects who want to expand their practice to include the design, construction, and operation of zero-energy (net-zero) buildings. You’ll also get the opportunity to learn about introducing the building design and management professions to the relationships between buildings and the electric grid through the lens of microgrid design.
